Love Bite Games Night TEASER

V-Day Posters.jpeg

Ok so some of you may have noticed we had a little old thing going on on the 14th Feb at Red Kantine in Shoreditch... Love Bite Games Night. A night of revelry designed for the those amongst you tired of the usual V-day events nonsense. It. Was. Beautiful. And we were particularly proud of the event description: 'Shootings Stars crossed with Gladiators and David Lynch.'

New collaborations abounded on this event- striking up with a new relationship with event partners Antidote London, and drumroll... Flo Hillier of Moro London. We will be releasing some images of the night soon, but in the mean time check out all the places we were featured online... Seems like our little night caused quite a stir!

A Maritime Festivity

IMG_3262.JPG

In January there was little time for our sore heads to recover from the christmas frivolities before we were back to work again creating some beautiful maritime touches for a very special charity ball held in central London. The location was unlike anything we've ever worked in before- a very grand old building full of oil paintings of important looking people, ships in bottles, trophies, chandeliers, and a huge ballroom with a spectacular view of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge: http://www.trinityhouse.co.uk/

The brief was to provide some fun, sea-side themed entertainment and decoration for an otherwise very formal occasion. Our first port of call (geddit) to find some inspiration was obviously the SEA- so off L&LG went to beautiful Whitstable where the above picture was taken. The sea breeze must have done us some good as we came up with some great touches for the event. We provided some roaming performance (a confused sailorboy, and a very modern day mermaid), a vintage bit of nautical themed musical performance, a burlesque slot, a classic L&LG photobooth with a nautical twist, and some very beautiful and evocative centre-pieces, table plans, name places and general lighting.

A XMAS JOLLY

Christmasmas 2013 for L&LG saw us taking over a beautiful old pickle factory just off Brick Lane- The Rag Factory.

When we first came across this space in October 2013 we knew we had to have it- spread over two floors, and three huge rooms with amazing antique and unique features of the original factory space such as beautiful tiled walls and huge wooden sliding doors the space was pretty impressive. Over the course of a week we wined and dined our guests, played some cheese of Christmas past (and maybe a bit of Whitney and maybe a bit of East 17), took our chances on bingo, watched delightedly as Foxy and Husk and The Original Street Dancers (among others) performed on our stage, turned our hands to xmas arts and crafts, spent our final pennies on last minute xmas gifts at out L&LG Curiosity Shoppe AND were secreted away into secret booths filled with surprise encounters and surreal performances... PHEW! It was intense. If you missed out and fancy peek into the world we created, or were there and fancy reliving it all again for a hot minute, watch this:

Theres a bit more about the food and drinks offering on the main event page on our site too- if you're curious, have a gander.
